[cess.unpad.ac.id, 06/08/2021] In an effort to remain consistent in anticipating adverse impacts on Natural Resources and the Environment as well as climate change, it is necessary to pay attention to many parties in implementing development that does not damage the environment, especially the government. The Center for Environment and Sustainability Science (CESS) UNPAD consistently strives to introduce and disseminate the ideas of Green Economy, Low Carbon Development, Climate Resilience, and their integration into planning development in the area. This is the background for holding the Environmental Planning Training in Development in 2021.
This year is the second time that the Environmental Planning Training in Development is conducted online using the Zoom Meeting platform. The training was attended by participants from various regions with varying positions. The general purpose of this training is to increase the understanding and competence of local government officials regarding the Green Economy, Low Carbon Development (PRK), Climate Resilience (KI), and their integration into regional development planning. The method that will be used is a teaching and learning process with learning methods for adults which can consist of: presentation of papers, class discussions, group discussions, practice of drafting Low Carbon Development and Climate Resilience Activity Plan Documents, and presentations.
The event, which is a collaboration between UNPAD Graduate School, UNPAD PULIK/CESS and Bappenas Pusdiklatren, was opened on Monday 6 September 2021 by the Head of Bappenas Bindiklatren represented by Wignyo Adiyoso, Ph.D and Dr. med. Setiawan, dr. as the Dean of the Unpad Graduate School. This event lasts for 10 days until Friday, September 17, 2021. The presenters give lectures including:
