based upon experiences from 5 urban regions: Sao Paulo (Brazil), Havana (Cuba), Bandung (Indonesia), Tokyo (Japan) and Nuremberg (Germany). The project will be a pioneer in revealing the global relevance of addressing urban agriculture as heritage
Bandung Urban Agriculture Heritage.
The Greater Bandung metropolitan area has experienced significant changes in agricultural production due to suburbanization and urbanization. Traditional home gardens, crucial to the city's food system, have lost their functions. The study aims to explore the history of home gardens as urban agriculture heritage, their perception by residents and farmers, and develop heritage-based management models to contribute to greening the city and sustainability.
